His
nose grazed along my throat. “Right here?” he asked playfully.
I nodded and let my head fall back,
exposing more of my neck to him. He laughed quietly. “I’ll take that as a yes.”
I sat up straighter and looked at him. His
eyes were bright with the restraint.
“To which part?” I asked and watched as
the meaning of my question registered in his mind.
“Hopefully to all of it,” he finally said,
pulling back, suddenly guarded.
I bit my lip as I nodded. “It was.”
The soft smile started in his eyes and
kept on until his whole face lit up.
The next graze I felt was cool metal on
the fourth finger of my left hand.
“Right here?” he asked and I nodded.
Right there.
Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Thank you.
DeleteVery sweet. Again, you surprised me with the twist, but in a good way. P must be for romance, because we both have romantic stories today.
ReplyDeleteI almost went with P for Passion, but that's not quite where this story wanted to go.
DeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeletethank you.
DeleteVery sweet. And I thought it was going to be a bit filthy ;-)
ReplyDeleteYeh...but I write YA, so there is a limit to how far I can go.

DeleteHow erotic...and lovely! You are welcome for the nomination! As for my decision making, my blog makes it seem simple, but it's been a really tough road, especially decided between grad schools!
ReplyDeleteYes, but it seems like you're such a strong person. The hardest part is the decision, after that you just go and give it your all.
DeleteYour pieces/snapshots of flash fiction are so perfect!! You are an excellent writer.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I never thought I'd enjoy writing so much, but I do.
DeleteAww, that was really sweet and touching. Nice writing.

ReplyDeleteSweet, , beautiful and precious moments. :)
ReplyDeleteI still remember when my husband proposed to me...but that is a whole different story in itself.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I love these little romantic scenes. They just melt me.
DeleteActually Julia, the characters in this story were from my trilogy, THE NEWSTEAD PROJECT. It's coming out May 1, so I'm announcing tomorrow that I'll make ebook copies available for anyone who wants to review it and post it on their site, so if you're interested email me at Melane@melanieschulz.com
DeleteI thought this was going to take a scary turn. Nice and romantic though.
