The small things I’m celebrating this week are rather simple: family, good health, and an over-abundant garden.
And the Express Yourselves question for today is: Which book/movie do you wish you lived in? This is a tough one- probably Lord of the Rings. There are a couple others that I’m too ashamed to admit (aka Twilight). How about you-what book/movie do you wish you lived in?

Have a great weekend everyone.
You can never have too many vegetables.
ReplyDeleteI'd live in Narnia.
I forgot all about Lord of the Rings. I think I'll still stick by my first choice (Harry Potter) but Lord of the Rings gets second :)
ReplyDeleteThe only overabundant thing in my garden are the weeds.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'd probably have to go with Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, too.
I wish I could have a garden, but I live in an apartment building. I'd like to have a plant, at least, but I have to keep my blinds closed because my apartment faces other apartments, and some of my neighbors apparently think that clothing is optional.
ReplyDeleteLovely things to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteAnd my answer about where to live is close to yours. I'd just live in The Hobbit, since it's the Shire I'd quickly move to. By living in The Hobbit, I don't have to worry about my home getting burned down after the denouement.
I'd want to live on Anne McCaffrey's Pern and be a dragonrider. I'd want my own firelizard, too.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's the simple things that are most worth celebrating!
ReplyDeleteOh, tough call. I'd love to live in Narnia, but I'm also partial to Pride & Prejudice era, too. Fantasy, or history...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Oh man, I could go all kinds of crazy on this. But my first answer has to be .... my own book. I'd love to actually get into that world, so I can REALLY write it well :)
ReplyDeleteLOVELY pics!
ReplyDeleteThe small things matter most, I'd say. You know, it's funny: every time I see a western, I wish I lived back then -- but life was so freakin' hard!
ReplyDeleteHm. A book or movie I'd like to live in? Nope. I like my own reality. Heck, I read and create realities so I can appreciate how much more awesome mine is. Dodging orcs or curbing my discussions in front of animals? Not sure I'd stay sane.
ReplyDeleteI love the pic of your garden!
ReplyDeleteI love your garden. Can't think of a book I would like to have lived in -- I think life would have its troubles no matter what world you live in-- so I'd rather live the life I'm given.
