Happy Friday

Happy Friday everyone. I have very high hopes that today should be a wonderful day. My son is going to his friend’s house to play, so my daughters and I plan on having a girl’s day in. There might be some nail polish involved and some tea, and cookies, definitely cookies. It’s not very often we have a testosterone free house, so we’re going to live it up while we can. Not that I don’t love my guys. I just don’t want to have to explain to my four-year old son (again) why he can’t wear nail polish.

What are you up to this wonderful Friday?

  1. Sounds wonderful. My daughter and I are having a day together too. Some little chores to finish up before she heads back to college tomorrow like file her taxes. No nail polish for us but some tea and making banana bread.

  6. Aw, maybe the little guy would like nail polish! Hope you enjoy your party.

I spent all day writing and got two more chapters out of the deal. Up to 85,000 words on the novel now and confident I might actually finish it next week!

  9. A testosterone free house, love it. I don't get that very often either with my house full of men. Hope you enjoyed it. I also hope you enjoy the A to Z April Blogging Challenge. I see you're a seasoned campaigner. All the best for April!

  10. Awwww, I remember those days. I let my son wear nail polish. Drove my husband nuts, but it was way easier to let him play along. They grow out of that phase so fast. There's no way he'd be caught anywhere near the stuff now! :)
