In addition to the A to Z challenge, it is also IWSG time.
Thank you to Alex J. Cavanaugh for hosting this each month. If you want to join

Right now my head is spinning, even more than it usually does
this time of year. Usually I do flash fiction, so that’s nothing new, but this
year I’m doing them as Ubooks, which are very, very time consuming. I’m not
complaining, just overwhelmed. Thankfully, I’ve done most of them ahead of
time. Notice I said most, not all. My goal was to do all, but unfortunately that
didn’t happen. No biggie; just busy. Are you doing A to Z? Are you feeling
crazed, too?
And...
Like Ubooks? You can check out the rest here.
Don’t forget to look for my short story, Haunted, coming out on May 3rd in Parallels: Felix was here, as well as my short story, The Reader, set to be released May 31st as part of The Thing that Changed Me Anthology.
I never heard of a Ubook. Very nice!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch inevitability in today's story and heavy sadness. Well written.

What a cute ideal and I enjoyed it as I was able to
ReplyDeletelearn about new books I can look into getting to read.
I think your flash fiction is fabulous. It definitely makes the reader feel something.

I love the idea of video books. Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteI love visiting this post each day so thank you for all the hard work you've put in. Greatly appreciated and thoroughly enjoyable (even if I am scared out of my wits on occasion).
ReplyDeleteIt's still early in the month. You have time to finish!
ReplyDeleteThat was very interesting. I have never seen a UBook before, did not know what they were. Nice job. Enjoyed it.

Most entertaining with the UBook video...a new experience for me. Captivating short story as well. Well done. Thanks for visiting my Letter E...Easy Peasy Embroidery.

Crazed is the proper word, and feeling guilty that I can't do them all justice!
ReplyDeleteHadn't heard of Ubooks! Great, one more thing to learn about... ;)

That was really cool! What a fun genre! I work in an office where digital storytelling abounds. I've never seen anything quite like this, so I intend to bring it back and share it with my colleagues. Thanks! I'm excited to see more as the month goes on.

Powerful.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first experience with a UBook. The music certainly added to the story.
One thing I love about this challenge is seeing all the cool things people are up to. I've never heard of UBooks, but that was really neat.
ReplyDeleteI felt quite chilled the whole time. The music was so ominous, I thought one of them was going overboard. I'd love to see more of their story.
AtoZ is quite the experience. It takes a lot out of you, it is says a lot about you for finishing at the end.
ReplyDeleteLoved the story.
